Blackbeard is a Deluxe-category phinisi for up to 16 guests, from a Royal Suite and a Panoramic Suite down to a deluxe room and a family sharing room. Common areas open onto the sea on both sides. Departures every Monday and Friday from Labuan Bajo.

Itinerary — 3D2N

A typical route. The captain and guide may adjust the order for weather, tides and the best wildlife sightings.

  1. DAY 1

    Labuan Bajo · Kelor · Manjarite · Kalong

    • Hotel or airport pickup in Labuan Bajo (9:30–10:30 AM) and transfer to the harbour.
    • Trek the hills of Kelor Island and snorkel over the reef, or relax on the white-sand beach.
    • Snorkel at Manjarite, welcomed by shoals of colourful fish.
    • Cruise the mangroves and watch thousands of flying foxes take off over Kalong Island at sunset.
  2. DAY 2

    Padar · Pink Beach · Komodo · Manta Point · Taka Makassar

    • Sunrise climb to the famous Padar Island viewpoint over three curved bays.
    • Swim and snorkel at the rose-tinted Pink Beach.
    • Trek with rangers on Komodo Island to see the dragons in the wild.
    • Swim with manta rays at Manta Point, then snorkel the coral around tiny Taka Makassar.
  3. DAY 3

    Kanawa · back to Labuan Bajo

    • Morning snorkel at Kanawa Island's jetty reef, then a last beach stop.
    • Arrive back in Labuan Bajo 11:00 AM–12:00 PM — take an afternoon flight (after 1:30 PM) or stay another night.

  • The order of the itinerary may change — the captain and guide adjust the route for weather and safety.
  • Manta rays, turtles and Komodo dragons are wild animals, so sightings can't be guaranteed.
  • The Komodo-dragon viewing site (Komodo Village, Loh Liang or Rinca) is chosen on the day depending on conditions and season.
